I originally created this website as my freelancing portfolio a few years ago. As I've become increasingly more wrapped up in schoolwork and life as a mom of four (agh! it still feels crazy to say), it isn't practical to find time for freelancing. Rather than take the entire site down, I decided to transition it into a blog, something that I've thought about for years, but never get around to. I want this to be a place where I can share with you not only my love for luxury beauty, but just my thoughts and life as a busy mom. I hope that I can find some "me" time to keep up with it, but we will just take it a skip at a time and see where it goes. 

I know we must all say this, but this year is already flashing before my eyes. We are well into the third month of the year, but so much has already occurred. Meeting my fourth child was such a wonderful event, but yet extremely overwhelming to adjust to. My older three have several years split between them, so while pregnant I was more terrified of having two kids under two than I was of having four kids altogether. The baby is an absolute delight and the calmest one of the bunch thus far and we seem to have transitioned as a family fairly well. On top of getting used to being a member of Team No Sleep once again, I have been scrambling around the past few weeks to gather everything I need to submit my application to the dental hygiene program next week. I have been working hard towards this moment for a few years now and can't believe I've hung in this far. I'm going to be sitting on pins and needles until acceptance letters are sent out. Wish me luck!
